About Lakshman sagar resort

It was built by Lakshman singh, the then thakur of Raipur, in 19th century to host other noble  families and British emissaries. It was built as a hunting lodge and since then it has been giving its best services till now. Let us have a detailed look on it.

How to get here?

The Lakshman sagar resort lies 10 kilometers off NH-14 enroute to Jodhpur via Pali. It is located in the center of Marwar and Mewar region of Rajasthan.

If you are travelling by airplane mode, then the closest  commercial airport is about 2 kms away ( Jodhpur airport)

If you are travelling by railways, then the closest railway station is only 3 kms away (Haripur railway station)

Accommodation

Here, the accommodation is in the form of cottages. Six 900 square metres cottages are located on either side of the man made lake i.e., it makes a total of 12 cottages.

The cottages are made up of eco-friendly material such as mud, wood and stone. The rooms gel with the silhouettes and natural topography of the hills.

Well, every room opens up to a private splash pools which further offers the view of the lake and the landscape. The interior are bright and are basically inspired by local life of the village. There are separate living areas and bedroom which features an attached bathroom.

Also, the bright pink curtains forms a wonderful contrast with the grey coloured walls.

Due to extremely hot weather in Rajasthan, the property remains closed in the months of May, June and July. The best time to visit Lakshman Sagar is from November to February, when days are sunny and nights are delightfully chilly.
